But if he has changed to good then Joras should live... I mean he was nice enough to even ask Min to tell his wife to not kill herself *Nods* So please don't kill him. Kill ice eyes instead... slowly and with Lots of pain.
Let me add another voice to the "let Joras wake & live" chorus. & if he is gonna be changed by having been so drugged... maybe turn him priest, or spirit seer or some sort of honest to GODS holy man, who never again takes up arms, but becomes some sort of boon companion to our young hero.
There's no zealot like a convert, and Mahid are supposed to be zealous, so it makes sense thematically to have Joras recover and be among the more senior of the redeemed Mahid. If you really need to punish the character for doing the Right Thing, make him feeble or palsied, but the Mahid need him as a clan elder or figure of guidance.
I'm certainly not going to punish a character for doing the right thing. Real life is pretty random that way but I'll take that into account! Thanks for commenting, Toast!
I want him to wake up, but I guess I would forgive you if he died... seems unnecessary though.
ReplyDeleteyeah, let him wake up (though maybe keep him in a coma for a little bit for drama).
ReplyDeleteI want him to wake up! I am want to see more of the recovering-Mahid. I like the dark side of the Aan family changing.

ReplyDeleteHow about he wakes up... but he's never quite the same again? Has some sort of personality change?
ReplyDeleteHeh... Thinking... Thinking...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback!

ReplyDeleteI want to see Joras encounter Surya! Now THAT would be world-changing.
ReplyDeleteHa! That's an idea.
