Update!

I just got home! And it wasn't just one tire but two on the same side. The lovely CAA mechanic had to tow me home... to where I have my parts car on a different set of tires. It began to rain. Of course. It turns out that this fellow has been training for a week and I was his first official, paid-for, call.

I'll see what I can do about posting tonight but I may just fall into bed.
